$20/mo
unlimited demos = unlimited experiments
The problems this solves
Signup walls kill top-of-funnel
Forcing account creation before showing value bleeds visitors. An interactive demo is 'try before you sign up' with zero infrastructure; the PLG motion without provisioning sandboxes.
You can't optimise what you can't measure
Videos give you play rate. Demos give you a funnel: views, per-step reach, completion, and lead conversion. That's an optimisable surface, not a vanity metric.
Experiment velocity vs tool cost
Testing demo variants on five landing pages shouldn't require a $500/mo contract. Flat $20/mo means demo experiments are basically free to run.
How growth teams use Mirage
01
Demo-qualified leads (DQLs)
Gate the demo (or just its ending) with lead capture. A DQL; someone who clicked through your product; converts far better than an ebook download, and the step data tells you what they cared about.
02
Activation preview loops
Show the aha-moment flow as a demo on the signup page and in onboarding emails. Users arrive already knowing the path to value; activation lifts follow.
03
Funnel forensics
Per-step drop-off pinpoints the exact screen where interest dies. Rewrite that step's tooltip, re-order the flow, republish, compare. It's CRO on your product story.
From product to published demo in ~90 seconds
- 1. Capture
Click through your product with the Mirage Chrome extension; it records real DOM snapshots, not screenshots. - 2. Direct
Add hotspots, tooltips, spotlight, and zoom in a Figma-like editor. Brand it with your colors and an intro splash. - 3. Publish
Get a share link and iframe embed. Watch views, completions, and per-step drop-off roll in.
Frequently asked questions
What's a demo-qualified lead?
A prospect who completed (or meaningfully engaged with) an interactive product demo before converting. DQLs outperform content leads because they've experienced the product; the demo did the qualification. Mirage supports lead-capture gates and per-step analytics to build a DQL motion.
Can we run A/B tests on demos?
Mirage doesn't have a built-in A/B suite (that's the $1,000/mo-tier stuff); but unlimited demos plus your existing testing tool does the same job: publish two variants, split traffic to two embeds, compare step funnels.
Does this replace our product analytics?
No; it complements it. Demo analytics cover the pre-signup story your product analytics can't see: what anonymous visitors explored before becoming users.
